Orvieto, Italy (2017)
I spent two weeks working on an organic farm about two hours north of Rome. It was the end of the growing season, so most of my work was clearing the fields, making minor repairs, and doing a little harvesting.
This picture includes the farmer I worked for, Roberto.
I don't look very happy in this photo, but don't be fooled. I was having a great time working hard.
No experience in Italy is complete without plenty of good food and laughter with family. As long as we worked at Roberto's farm, my wife and I were treated like members of the family. This picture is typical.
Amsterdam (2017)
Volunteer Canal Cleanup
This isn't farm work, but spent part of a day riding a boat through the canals of Amsterdam picking up trash. When I visit a place, I like to leave it better than it was when I arrived.
