Science Classroom Video!

Last week I was hired by Tarazod Films to work as second camera and lighting grip on a series of educational videos for the National Science Teachers Association.

We followed two classrooms of students, third and fourth graders, learning about the nesting habits of Red Winged Black Birds.

While we worked mostly in the classroom, the project also involved a field trip to a marsh near the University campus where the students saw Red Winged Black Birds in action.

And I saw the students in action!

I also interviewed students and parents on the bus ride over to the marsh from the school on Madison's west side.  Capturing video and sound on moving school bus is not the easiest thing I have ever done!
