Lighting Mourning in the Cemetery

Yesterday I lit the scene for filmmaker Ben Wydeven and other crew members to shoot the opening of his latest project in the Raven James series, Mourning in the Cemetery.  We worked in a nearly windowless area of a closed bar and most of the overhead lights had been deactivated, so we needed to light the scene ourselves just so we could see what we were doing!  It all worked out, though, and I was able to achieve the atmospheric lighting the Ben wanted for the scene, using a combination of incandescent and LED lights.

Despite the ubiquity of glass bottles filled with alcohol, not one container was broken!
Hand held lights were needed throughout, to properly illuminate the moving talent for a moving camera.
